Air Force Veteran Honored

PictureOn July 30th The Nebraska Army National Guard and Aseracare Hospice Honored Glen Mulholland for his Military Service with the United States Air Force.

Glen joined the Air Force during the Korean War to avoid being drafted. He served with the Air Force for 20 years 3 months and 28 days before retiring. During his service he worked on B-47’s, LSF missiles and B-52’s. He did a tour in Korea and well as Newfoundland. His favorite place to be stationed at was Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. It was during his Military service that he married wife Donna and they had two children daughter Linda and son Steve.

Aseracare Hospice is part of “The We Honor Veterans Program” in partnership with the National Hospice and Palliative Care organization and the Department of Veteran Affairs. The program works to Honor Military Veterans and Spouses of Veterans currently on Hospice care and those not receiving hospice care that have served our Country.

A Pinning Ceremony was held with members of the Tiffany Square Team and Aseracare Team present as well as Three Members of the Nebraska Army National Guard. During the ceremony Glen and Donna were presented with certificates of appreciation for their years of dedication and service, each were also presented with a Lapel pin and pinned by the Military Members. It’s a great way to Honor our Military Veterans.
